Clay Plastering Workshops at The Big Shed
Starting on the 16th of April, there is an opportunity for anyone interested to attend weekend sessions and learn practical skills in the application of natural plasters inside The Big Shed at Tombreck, Loch Tay near Killin.
Training will be given (by a female Japanese plasterer) and tools provided – the sessions will be fun and informative and we will be clay plastering a number of walls in the building. Your chance to get involved!
We will be working initially with raw clay plaster, but later will be experimenting with different types of finishing plasters and techniques.
There will also be the opportunity to compare clay and lime plastering, and to see the Big Shed building in progress!
Accommodation and food will be provided, and there is no charge for the sessions
Start date is Saturday 16th April and for the following weekends until the job is done!
