21st September 2013, Glasgow city centre

PARK(ing) Day is an annual worldwide event where artists, designers and citizens transform metered parking spots into temporary public parks.

The original PARK(ing) Day concept was developed by Rebar, based in San Francisco. There were over 1,000 PARK(ing) day installations globally in 2012. On 21st September 2013 SEDA is aiming to create a series of parks across the Merchant City, as part of the Doors Open Day festival.

We are seeking members and associates to build a park for the day in the centre of Glasgow, together with volunteers to help and visitors.

If you are interested in creating a park, please download the PDF by clicking here and contact Matt Bridgestock on 07886 418357 or email chair@seda.uk.net
