100 Sustainable Buildings – deadline extended
Deadline extension: now Monday 11 April 2016
This year SEDA is publishing100 Sustainable Scottish Buildings in association with Festival of Architecture 2016. The deadline for nominating a building has been extended to Monday 11 April 2016.
The aim of the publication is to pull together a list of building of all ages, types and sizes (and indeed we would consider other interventions in the built environment as well) that have some claim to be environmentally, economically and / or socially sustainable.
It is most definitely not a top 100 and there will be made deserving buildings we may have to overlook in order to include those that represent particular uses, but the greater aim is to show the diversity of a more responsible approach to the built environment. The publication will also be interspersed with short essays on the subject and we hope will be both an attractive book and become a source book for designers, planners and students alike.
