6-8pm 7, 8 & 10 June
In our Conference 2021, SEDA members and guests are invited to consider where we have come from and what has changed, and then to see what we can all get involved in, to be able to take the actions we now need, as a group and individually, to make the real, profound changes that are required.
With COP26 coming to Glasgow in November 2021 there will be an intense focus this year on what actions we can take to help mitigate climate change. SEDA are celebrating 30 years since we were founded and during that time the impact of climate change has been felt around the world. If we have only ten years to make a difference in our efforts to limit the global temperature rise to significantly below 2 degrees then we have to make sure our actions have impact. We’ll be discussing key issues that we think will be important over the next ten years and challenging SEDA members to take action. Join us for all nights from 7-10 June 2021.
The conference will take place on-line via Zoom, like last year, generally between 6 and 8pm on the evenings of 07, 08 and 10 June (with the members only AGM between 6 and 7pm on 10 June). You will be sent Zoom links for all nights when you buy your ticket. You can buy tickets for all three nights together, or for individual evenings, with free tickets for under 18's. The links for all options are below.
A full schedule is available at www.seda.uk.net/sedaconf-21 but in outline the themes and confirmed speakers for the three nights are as follows. But we hope you will join us for some or all of the evenings, and if you want to take part in the AGM, do sign up to become a member beforehand through the Support section of the website. We look forward to seeing you there.
