The Howard Liddell Memorial Lecture Series

The Howard Liddell Memorial lecture takes place every Autumn, and is organised and / or delivered by Professor Sandy Halliday Liddell, on an aspect of the EcoMax book that SEDA Cofounder Howard was developing when he died in 2013. Each year looks at the legacy and importance of a different pioneering ecological thinker and practitioner, from Patrick Geddes and Rachel Carson, to Buckminster Fuller.

THE PEBBLE TRUST SUSTAINABLE RENOVATION GROUP

The Pebble Trust has a vision of a more sustainable, equal and low-carbon society, where human activities take account of climate change and the wider environment. The Trust provides small grants for projects in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, and commissioned and published the Sustainable Renovation Guide to help inform the enormous task of upgrading the fabric of Scotland’s homes.
