The return of SEDA Greendrinks to Glasgow: retrofitting chat and social meet-up with drinks!
After a bit of a break, SEDA's members in Glasgow are getting back together to meet up, to chew the fat on a few particular issues and whatever is on their minds, with fellow ecologically inclined designers, campaigners and interested folk.
The plan is to meet at the host's flat in the West End , where you will be let in to check out an architecturally interesting place to live, a segment of Charles Wilson’s Victorian masterpiece overlooking Kelvingrove Park. (The exact address will be issued to ticket reservers prior to the event in an email). There the plan is discuss the possible solutions for retrofitting, in a flat that, like many, needs careful thought to preserve the building, as well as making them perform better for the future. Cheese and wine will be provided.
This will be followed by a move for further discussion at the pub (The Drake, 1 Lynedoch St, G3 6EF), sometime around 7-7.30pm. The aim is to talk through how these ideas can be made affordable and transferable to standard tenement buildings, while catching up with others with an interest, in the neighbourhood.
This will be a friendly, informal, and hopefully interesting evening out, numbers will be limited, so reserve a free place as soon as you can (and if you can't then make it, please cancel, so others can get in.)
See you there!
